Collection: Arras Furniture

Our Arras Collection draws inspiration from original 19th- and early 20th-century French garden furniture, faithfully recreating its timeless character and distinctive details.

Arras furniture takes its name from the town in northern France where ironworks such as the Usine Saint-Sauveur and Grassin made riveted wrought iron garden furniture from around 1840 until the 1920s, for public parks and country estates. Pieces made before 1900 usually stand on cast-iron lion paws; later ones on the simpler hoof feet that became the signature of the style. Never mass-produced, the originals are now prized by collectors and antique dealers.

Each of our pieces is entirely handmade using the same time-honoured techniques, hand forging and riveting. Available in any RAL Classic colour, our furniture can also be hot-dip galvanised for long-lasting protection outdoors.

Unlike fragile antiques, our new Arras pieces are built for everyday outdoor use, and are chosen by private gardens, hotels and interior designers across Europe.
